Legal Question in Family Law in California

motion to vacate; motion to reconsider

I plan to file a motion to vacate and motion to reconsider in family Court.

I do have information, not available to me at time of trial. There were also errors made by the court, and insignifcant evidence for rulings.

Can I file both Motions together, as a Motion for a New Trial, with the supporting documents together, or do I need to file them separate?

Yes I would file the motions together and have them heard. You must follow the legal standards for those two motions however. And you should probably submit a legal brief to accompany your motions.

As always please consult with a local attorney prior to taking legal action. Good luck.
