wants to move

i need to know if i acn move out of state, with my child.

i have full physical custody and joint legal custody and i don't knoe what my rights are.

You need to discuss the particular facts of your case with a family law attorney.

The general rule is that you can move freely about the US. The court cannot restrict your movements. However, in some cirucmstances the court can limit the movement of the the child. That is the court could give the non moving parent custody of the child.

Each turns on it own facts. One of the reasons that the court may take such action would if the purpose of the move was to interfere with the visitation of the other parent.

Your reason for moving is an important factor to be considered by the court.
