Legal Question in Family Law in California
Move Away CA to HI.
I requested a move away to HI, he initially agreed but since denies the move away. He does not pay court ordered child support amount, he does not follow the visitation schedule. My ex-husband has been inconsistantly involved in our son's life. While we were married he was verbally & physically abusive to myself and our son. I had to send my child to WA for 2 yrs while deployed; he did not object, visit, pay child support, call our son during this time. The court ordered Tue/Thur visitation in June, he started picking my son up on Nov 1. Our son has began to display agressive unacceptable behavior. How do I convince the court that he does not have a genuine interest in our son's life, he is not a healthy role model, and that he is only fighting the move away because the child support rates will go up?

Re: Move Away CA to HI.
The lack of interaction between father and the children will help you convince the court that you should be allowed to move out of california. Retaining an attorney to assist you in presenting your request to the court will be a great help to you.
