Legal Question in Family Law in California

Move divorce case from El Cajon to San Diego

I have been divorced for some time now, and I would like to move my case from El Cajon District to San Diego District. What forms would I need to do this? I was not very happy with the Judge and the help I received in El Cajon district and would very much like to move my entire case to the San Diego District. Thank you.

Re: Move divorce case from El Cajon to San Diego

You can move it by stipulation, otherwise you will need to file a motion to change the case to San Diego. Have you moved out of the El Cajon court area or has your ex? You may not be any happier downtown, El Cajon has the best bench in the county. It depends on the issue that you feel was not treated properly, all judges are individuals. Pat McCrary
