Legal Question in Family Law in California
So I am looking to move away in the next 3 months, received a better job offer that also lintels me to a down payment on a new home.
The new job is in another state and pay and living expenses are much better there then in CA for us.
I have 2 kids and have full sole custody both legal and physical of the kids; the other parent has supervised visits only and has only seen the kids 4 times in the last year, the kids are 7 and 9.
Were we are planning on moving also has our family members there.
What are my chances of being able to move and what do I need to do?
Thank you

I qualify my answer in that it is based only on the information provided in your question. Many other factors can control the outcome of your case. It is always best to meet and confer with a experienced family law attorney to discuss your case and legal options.
With what you described it seems that a motion to move has a high chance of being granted by the courts. The main concern the court would need clarified is if the move would impair the childrens ability to have an ongoing relationship with their father.
I agree with Ms. Kock's assessment of your chances, with the same caveats. What you do is file a motion to modify custody and to permit removal of the children from the state permenantly.
