Legal Question in Family Law in California

moving with child

I have (male) about 75% custody of my 3 year old daughter for a year. When can I think about moving away and what things are valid reasons in California to move. I have been protecting time share because I know I will move in the future OR is this not needed as I will be able to move just keeping primary.

Re: moving with child

The governing document regarding move away is the court order granting custody. What does it say about moving away. Also you don't mention anything about taking your daughter with you. Is that your plan. If that is your plan your ex may make a motion to stop you or change custody or support.
