Legal Question in Family Law in California

ex moving

I have custody of our two children he has visitation every other weekend. in our court papers its states that we cannot move out of madera or kings county. he is planning on moving to the coast about 3 hours away.can he do this without going back to court.i will not agree to driving 6 hours in one day to get my kids.he picks them up on fridays and i pick them up on sundays. thank you hope you can help me

I really, really, really doubt that there is a court order that says he cannot move out of either of those two counties. I suspect it says that in the event the children (custodial parent) wish to move that there be some sort of advance notice. Since he is the one undertaking the move I would suspect that if asked, the court would take the postion that any additional burden involved in his exercising visitation will fall on his shoulders.
