Legal Question in Family Law in California

moving and custody.

I share physical and legal custody of our two children (6 and 8) with my ex-wife. Her and her husband are looking at moving 2.5 hours away for a new job for him. neither of us play any support. Can she move and demand to stay on our 50-50 custody plan? What are my options to block any move of the children that far?

Go to court and request custody. You have a good chance of being successful.
