That depends, but you should not be worrying about these things, since you are a kid, and the courts don't like to see the kids worrying.

Unfortunately, kids can't, on their own, go get an attorney right off the bat. A parent has to request appointment of minor's counsel on behalf of the kids.

At this point, you are going to have to "wait and see" what your parents do now that they are separated.
