Moving out

If I move out of the home without a separation/custody agreement, will that jeopardize my child custody status? Is that answer the same for a man or woman?

Re: Moving out

Same answer for a man or a woman: Yes, moving out and leaving the child in the former household with the other parent gives the advantage to the staying parent. On the other hand, if you have been the primary parent and move out and the child goes with you, you should not have jeopardized your custody status.
