Legal Question in Family Law in California

Moving to a different state

I am currently going through a divorce and I am thinking about moving to a different state. What form do I need to file with the courts in order for this to be taken into consideration?

Re: Moving to a different state

What you do or don't file depends upon what the issues in your case are and whether or not you are represented by an attorney. If it only involves your moving and you have no attorney, file a Notice of Change of Address. If you have a child/children, you can't just move, you need to have a written agreement or a court order.
