Moving out of state

My fiance and i are talking about move from california to texas my ex has i forgot what its called but my son resides with my ex but we have 50/50 when it come to making decesion and school can i move out of state?

You can move out of state as long as the other party agrees to it. Parents can decide among themselves how to raise the children.

You can move out of state without the agreement of the mother of your child. However, such a move will interfere with your visitation schedule. You cannot remove the child from California with her written consent or a court order. You should work out a modified share time schedule or go to court and obtain a court order for visitation. This order should include provisions for who pays the transportation costs .
