Legal Question in Family Law in California

Moving to other state

I have a legal joint custody of my son and daughter with my ex wife, she has the physical custody and I'm going to move to other state.

What are the chances to get my son and daughter for six months and the other six months they can stay with her or one year each, can you tell me what are my options or what should I ask for in my court date?

I just want a little advice?

Thanks and God Bless.

Re: Moving to other state

While on the outside it sounds like a reasonable wish, I believe the court will say it disrupts their life too much. School, friends, etc., etc. First see what your ex will work out with you and then discuss with attorney to represent you at an order to show cause hearing. The courts will likely not interfere with parental agreement, they will make decisions if parents dispute.
