Legal Question in Family Law in California

Our MSA states that I am to drop off my children during the week after my visitation with them (1 day per week) - the MSA was established 7yrs ago. Things are different now and I live half an hour away. My ex refuses to pick them up to make transportation 50/50. I pick them up at 3:45 and drop them back off at 7:00. Can I get this changed so it is 50/50? My ex won't even let me keep them and extra half hour so we can have family dinner. It is typical that this can be changed? My ex says its not his fault I moved away. I got married and moved into my husband's current home.

Changed circumstances is all that needs to be shown to get a hearing to modify a custody order. It sounds like you have good grounds to file a motion for a new order. With a new home and husband, if you and he wanted to, you could probably qualify for more visitation time too.
