multiple marriages

i married a man not divorced from his first wife. 3 years later i found out and left him. filed for annulment but paralegal did not file this. by this time i am remarried. was my first marriage legal if not is my second one?

The first marriage doesnot appear to be valid. The fact that your first marriage was void casts a shadow on your second marriage. File a petition to have the first marriage declared void. Request that the court order be issued nuc pro tunc. That the court order would be effective on a date prior to your second marriage. That should remove the cloud from your second marriage.
