Legal Question in Family Law in California

Names

I despise my ex-wife. She is bipolar and has been acting quite irate these last couple years. I hate that she carries around my last name unresponsibly. I feel she does not represent my family name well. I have researched and been told there is nothing I can do about the matter. Isn't there a law to help me. I feel like my rights are being violated. We are no longer married and I don't feel she is entitled to keep my name. It is unfair to the man.
