Legal Question in Family Law in California

I was needing a letter stating that I am paying my fiance child support to show to the Military, so i could collect Basic Allowance Housing money to also give her. What it is I need is maybe an example to go off of she is supposed to write this but she is not that computer smart.

I would be surprised if the military would give additional allowance for support that is not court ordered, but if they will, you need to ask them what has to go in the letter for it to satisfy their requirements to issue BAH money.

You need to provide a birth certificate to PSD to prove that you have a dependent. If you do not have a birth certificate naming you as the father, then you will need a court order that you are the father in a paternity action. You need to talk to PSD or your Disbursing Officer.
