Legal Question in Family Law in California

Non Compliance of Child Support

My ex's company is to be garnishing his wages for child support effective Jan 07. The started the granishment but did not send it into the state. The Department of Child Support Services called and spoke with the owner of the company and they understood the they are to mail it in each month. Now the company has not sent in child support to the state in 2 1/2 months. Is there anything that can happen to the company for the continual non compliance of a court order?

Re: Non Compliance of Child Support

This conduct is a violation of a court order to withhold and pay the withheld money as ordered. The department of child support services could take action to have the court punish the employer.
