Non Custodial Fathers Rights

My son is a minor and having a baby with his girlfriend. They have broken up and we're wanting to know his rights as far as naming the baby, custody, and other parental rights.

He has the same rights as any other father. However, since they are not married he has littl control over the name that is placed on the birth certificate. He will upon becoming 18 become responsible for paying child support.
