Legal Question in Family Law in California

Non custodial parent just wants one child

Non custodial parent has visitation schedule with both of his children. The other is autistic, so he keeps wanting to just keep one child. He told me several times. Now here and there he wants to take one child on his visitation time. If I dont do that he said he is going to report me for kidnapping! What do I do? Should I hire an attorney?

Re: Non custodial parent just wants one child

You can't force someone to be a good parent. If he is ignoring the autistic child, then he is not doing the timeshare that the child support is based upon, therefore, you could request an increase in the child support.
