Legal Question in Family Law in California
non-custodial parent rights
I am in San Joaquin County, California and my ex is refusing to allow me to bring lunch and spend lunchtime with my children at the school. They are all in High School and I intended to sit in the car and have lunch together. This is the first time in a year that I have wanted to do this. My ex says if I do, he will have me brought up on contempt charges. Can he do this?

yes--if doing so violates a court order.
