Non-US Citizen mother gives birth to baby in California

Both my husband and I are non-US citizens and I am due to give birth in 2 months in California. I just arrived 2 weeks ago. Would my baby automatically be a US Citizen ?

Yes, but the baby will not be able to stay here if you are not here legally. If you have to leave the US the baby goes with you and he can return when he is an adult.
