Ms. Kock is right. I would add that even though you cannot get "immediate" support, you can get it fairly quickly. The courts are used to hearing motions for temporary support on an expedited basis. They don't want parents and children having to live in a bad situation just because they have to wait for a regularly scheduled hearing.
