Legal Question in Family Law in California

Obtaining Custody of Children in Child Protective Custody

My grandchildren are in children's protective services, I believe illegally. Their aunt and I have been told that we are going to be denied visitations and that the children are going to be adopted out without the permission of their mother or any family member. Their aunt and I want to keep them with us, before CPS farms them out. We have a paper signed by their mother that we can have custody of her children. What is our legal recourse?

The CPS needs court approval to "farm out" the kids. You should hire a lawyer to represent you at such a legal hearing. This is too important a case to try to handle yourself.
