Legal Question in Family Law in California
Obtaining Full Custody
I am not married but I have a 5 yr old son. His mother is an absentee parent for the most. Yet we share joint custody. Although I am not named on the birth certificate. His last name is hers. I want full custody of my son and his name changed. He has been with me since birth. How do I do this?

Re: Obtaining Full Custody
In a nutshell, you would need to file for an OSC (order to show cause) hearing to modify custody, etc... If you would like a free phone consultation to provide us with more facts, contact us directly.
