Legal Question in Family Law in California
Office Procdures
My firm wants to know how we can bill clients for setting up binders, processing their initial paperwork etc. What should we call it? It's not file maintenance yet but what's a good PR term for this flat rate one time fee.

I charge an "initial file set up fee".

Re: Office Procdures
In my retainer agreement I call that a "client file set up fee" for which I bill an amount equal to one hour billing time.
