Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am the official legal guardian for my niece, filed with the courts in California. I now want to have my husband be her legal guardian as well. Is that something that I can just file for, as her legal guardian. Or will I have to hunt down her biological parents and grand parents, like I had to when I became her legal guardian, as they all had to sign off on it. Hoping as her legal guardian, I can just file and have my husband as her legal guardian without involving the others. I just have no idea where any of them are and it took me years to find them back when I filed. Fingers crossed. Thanks!!

Unfortunately, you will have to notice the same people that you noticed when you originally filed for your guardianship. Good luck!
