Legal Question in Family Law in California

Optaining payroll records

I recently went to court because my ex husband requested additional child support because he was fired from his job. Since his income has changed form $10,000 a month to $900.00 I have to pay additional child support. My question I asked him was, ''You failed to report your additional income from your severence package'' He claims he did not recieve any severence. I believe he lied in court on this issue and want to know how I can obtian his payroll records to prove he received a substantial severnce package
