What does this mean? Does this mean that he has option between Bail and O.R?

"Defendant remanded to custody of Sheriff in lieu of bail of $250,000.00 . The Court further orders that in addition to bail, the defendant is to sign a conditional Own Recognizance Release. The terms of the agreement are, that you not have any contact with xxx, xxx2, xxx3,..."

As I read it the defendant doesn't get out until he posts bail, and signs an OR statement agreeing not to have contact with the named parties. It's an AND meaning both, not an OR, meaning either.

It is worded rather weirdly, but I agree with Mr. Roach. I believe the judge is setting a $250,000 bail and that the judge is attempting to make it a condition of the release that the defendant stay away from the named individuals..
