Legal Question in Family Law in California
My order says that my ex has 10 days to send me the medical bills after she receives them. She holds on to them for years and then sues me for them. Am I still liable for bills that she doesn't send according to the order?

You would not have an obligation to pay if your court order specifically allows for a forgiveness of your obligation to pay the medical expense if your ex fails to get you the reimbursement request by a stated deadline. If you do not have an order with those specifics, consider returning to court to request this from the judge.
