Legal Question in Family Law in California

Order to Show Cause Hearing

I requested a continuence of our hearing date via phone to accomodate my estranged husband's schedule.

The new date was provided. Am I required to notify

him officially of the new date in legal format and

does this notification have to be filed with the Court?

I have been told conflicting info. by a Court Clerk

and a Paralegal.

you have to file and serve a notice of continuance. if you do not do it, it would only become an issue if he didnt show up for the new date.
