Legal Question in Family Law in California

OSC for childcare cost

When I was awarded $415 of child support a year ago I wasnt aware that I could ask for of childcare cost. From what I understand I could modify the child support order by filing an OSC to ask for 1/2 of child care cost. Is that correct? And are there any other forms?

At this time my 2 year old is attending a daycare that is less expensive because I attend school. of childcare would be $130. In a month I will complete my class and my 2 yr old will have to attend another daycare where half would be $224. When the childcare cost amount changes do I file another OSC modification to show the new amount?

Re: OSC for childcare cost

You can get an order for half of the child care related to employment, probably not school. Ask the facilitators office for assistance or seek an attorney. You may want to get an attorney since it appears you didn't cover all issues the first time. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
