Osc

What is an OSC and where do I go to file it? If the restraing order was filed in CA. and I am currently in TX. do I need to file it in CA?

OSC stands for Order to Show Cause. An order to show cause is filed with the clerk of the superior court in either the county whre the respondent resides or the county where the actions causing the restraining order occurred. If the restraining order was filed in California, you need file it only once. Living in Texas does not require you to file it more than once in California.
