Legal Question in Family Law in California

osc

I filed an OSC for child support reduction/denied visition. Before the Judge cont'd the case, the opposing attorney said I was in Contempt on child support. I pay the support. Can I object the Contempt issue and tell the court the attorney needs to bring his own OSC on this issue? I believe the attorney is trying to distract from his client being in Contempt on denied visitation.

Re: osc

When the attorney raises the issue of your non payment of support, object that the matter is not before the court. You have the right to have notice of the issue and the allegations upon which the allegations is being made, and time in which to investigate the allegations.
