Legal Question in Family Law in California

osc hearing notice

The court website shows that there will be OSC Hearing for Modification of Child Support in two weeks and that it was requested by my attorney. In a correspondence my attorney notify me that the Hearing is suppose to be in two months. I asked him three times already and he keeps saying that that Hearing is in two months. Is there a reasonable explanation or my attorney simply doesn't want me to appear??

Re: osc hearing notice

Court web sites are not always accurate. Have you told the attorney about the website court date? If you have not then do so. You should have received a copy of the papers filed with the court. The hearing date should appear on the first page of the OSC.
