What is osc and how does it work

OSC is an Order to Show Cause why the court should not make the requested order. The court reviews the OSC petition and respondent and then may have a short hearing,in most cases. The court then makes a decision. In some cases the matter is set for a long cause hearing, more than 20 minutes in most courts.
