Legal Question in Family Law in California

How to overturn a judgment based on perjury

Under what conditions can a judgment be upheld even if it has been reasonable established that it was the result of perjury, i.e., that the Judge was deliberately lied to in order to obtain the ruling? How do I get an order over-turned or set aside when I can demonstrate that the Plaintiff deliberately lied to the Court in order to obtain the favorable judgment?

It is difficult to set aside or have the judge reconsider an order and there are very strict time limitations to file that motion. You will almost certainly need an attorney to prepare that motion. You should talk to an attorney immediately. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
