Legal Question in Family Law in California

Owed 24,653.85 all arrearages. Sons are 24 & 20. Mr. was supposed to pay 476.00 towards arrears. Now Mr. has another child and that person has filed a child support case against him. How do I get my money?

You still have a right to have a wage assignment against the father. If nothing else, you can get the Department of Child Support Services to help you to enforce your order.

Mr. Schneider is right, however due to the adult children's age, you would be a very low priority for DCSS. It would be more prudent to have a skilled family law attorney assist you on this collection motion. Please also note any unpaid support balance continues to collect interest at 10% per annum.
