Legal Question in Family Law in California
I am owed $39,000 dollars in arrears for child support and $50,000 dollars in arrears for spousal support is there anyway possible I can collect this money? My case is being handled by San Diego County Child Support Services my last payment was 03/04/2010 in the amount of $399 dollars. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Having turned it over to DCSS, you are stuck with their collections efforts. I believe there is a way to withdraw it from them and take the collection effort back yourself. You'd need an attorney to do that though, if not to take it back, to be effective in collections.
