Legal Question in Family Law in California
I have not paid my child support in 16 years the child is of age there are no more monthly payment due on current support.
I have not made any contact with the DCSS (CA) on my behalf at all.
My question is this: Where do I start? do i need councel? or is it something I can handle on my own?

You still owe that money. There is no limitations period on collecting unpaid child support.

You not only still owe the money, you owe 10% interest on every missed payment from the date it was due to the date it is paid. You need a lawyer more than anyone since O.J. Simpson.
