Legal Question in Family Law in California

Does Palimony or Cohabitation inclue s#x?

My sister is lives with a male

''roommate.'' They are viewed as a

couple, but she tells me they have

never had s#xual relations because

he has a problem. I believe her.

They sleep in the same bed, but don't

do the deed. They are companions

like this for 8 years, but she doesn't

want to marry him--he has no

money and barely has a job. Their

money is separate. She owns the

house. If she dumps him (believe

me, I pray for this), does he have

any legal recourse against her in

terms of palimony or cohabitation

rights, if they've never had s#x?

Can he sue her for anything? I want

to make sure she has info that can

protect her. I've been begging her to

get a trust too, but she

procrastinates. If she dies, I'm her

only living relative, so does he have a

right to stay in her house? He does

not pay rent, but contributes toward

the utilities and food bills. Thank you.
