Legal Question in Family Law in California
Help with Papers!
I am doing my divorve by publication, I took Forms FL-165,FL-170,FL-180,and FL-190 in to file and I got them back with a note wanting clarity on the ''Status'' portion of 170 & 180. The clerk said they didn't match. That if I checked Status only it would be in name only and would not take care of any property. I want this to be complete and include everything. I checked box 21 on 170 and didn't check anything on 180 under Judgement. So my question is:On 180 underneath the ''Judgement'' I check DISSOLUTION and which other box do I check if any? Next question: I had checked box 21 on 170 so I'm guessing I don't check #21, but do I enter anything in #23 ''Other''?
I hope I have made this clear enough and someone can give me some much needed information.
Thanks for the Great Job you all do for people like me.

Re: Help with Papers!
We do not have the forms in front of us that you refer to, but if you want all of the marital issues resolved at once, rather than just a dissolution in "name" only, you would not want to merely file for status only. If you would complete, prompt and affordable legal assistance in completing and filing the paperwork to BEST effectuate your intentions here, contact us today for a free phone consultation.
