Legal Question in Family Law in California

Parental Liability Release

My 18 yr. old son has lived with my sister since school

started in Sept. 03. I will be moving there as soon as I

have enough $ for a car and to rent a home for my son and I.

I have med. ins. for my son but the doctors & dentist over

there will not take an out of state ins. My sister and her husband want to put my son on their ins. They want a form from me stating he is now their dependent. The med. ins.

co. there requested it. Is this right? I do not want to sign over custody or any legal papers that will give them

custody etc. I will be moving in a couple of months but my

son does need to see a dentist now. Thankyou

Do not sign a legal document until you have an attorney review it and explain it to you.

Good luck to you.
