Legal Question in Family Law in California

parental responsibility

My 17 year old son may have gotten an 18 year old woman

pregnant. He is a junior in Hogh School, and plans on at-

tending college after his senior year. What are his re-

sponsibilities and obligations? Can he still attend college, or will he be forced to go to work? He has no

relationship with this woman, other than the one night

stand they had. any info would be great...

Re: parental responsibility

He will be responsible for child support. The amount of support is directly related to the amount of time the child is with him. Most courts will allow him to go to school to improve his income earning power.
