Legal Question in Family Law in California

Parents filed for custody of my children. I was never served and notified of court date. Parents were awarded temporary custody. What do I need to file in order to get my children back asap?

You can file for a Motion for Set Aside of the judgment based upon a fraudulent proof of service. In Merced county you can also ask the court for an Ex Parte or Time Shortening Hearing based upon this to get in front of the court quicker. The department you will be going in front of is Department 7. Ultimately you may need to contact an attorney in your area to help you with this process.
