Legal Question in Family Law in California

If the others party, represented by attorney, files a response that is completely misconstrued and has many false statements that involve people and places, what can I do to make the other party correct these inaccuracies.

You can correct these inaccuracies by filing a reply to the response and speak your version of the truth. I wouldn't do that unless it was very important since at every court hearing the court will allow the parties to speak and respond to the pleadings.

You can contact the local family law facilitator in your court house to get self help information for self represented individuals.

Please contact a lawyer in your area before taking any legal action.

Good luck.
