Past debts

My fiancee has an existing loan with her ex-husband (both names on loan). Will I become legally (and/or financially) responsible for any of this loan once we get married?

Re: Past debts

Your income is community property. If she lacks sufficient income to pay the loan the court can order that payments can be made from the community property. You should not be added to the debt unless you agree to be added.
