patternity test
I believe i have a child with an xgirlfriend, another man believed it was his child.The child has his last name.That man passed away.My x lost custody of the child to that mans parents.She now confesses to me that it is my child.How can i get a patternity test.And what legal rights do i have.

What is the age of the child? If the child is older than 8 or so, the courts do not like to order paternity test.

File a petition to establish paternity. You might want to discuss it with an attorney first. Your child means your child support. Don't expect to walk in and get custody. You might get some minimal visitation but nothing significant for a long time, if ever.
