Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am currently paying child support on 1 of my 2 children from my first marriage. One is 18 and in college and I no longer pay on him. The other will be 18 in a few months and is going to an online charter High School part time. When he turns 18 will I still be paying? From what I read it says "in full time high school"...does that mean it stops when he turns 18 because he is not in full time high school? I am not trying to shirk my responsibilities, I give my other son $$ each month for his college. I am just curious because getting $$ back from Child Support is impossible and I don't want them taking more out than they need to. Thanks for the info!

Full time means full time. Online charter might be an issue if the ex contended it was full time, but if there's no dispute that it's part time, the support obligation ends on the 18th birthday.

I agree with Mr. McCormick, but if you are dealing with Child Support Services, be prepared for them to argue with you over it. They tend to rely on statements from the non-obligor parent, without really checking into that parent's statements.
