Re: Percentage of time/custody???

I think the courts have a sheet to help determine percentage of time, but here's how I do it:

I take the amount of hours that one parent has each week with the child, like from 6 p.m. Friday to 6 p.m. Sunday, which is 48 hours, and I multiply that by 52, or = 2,496 hours per year.

Then I take that number and divide it by the number of hours in a year, which is 365 times 24 = 8,760.

Or

2,496 divided by 8,760 = .28 or 28%.
